Hi, Im a user of Moni, the App the simple and useful. But since the big update, I cant add any price in the app. I hope theres a way to fix that. Thanks

As for the new update, values were erased and the app crashes immediately after it opens.

My issue with your update, is it WIPED OUT A•L•L MY DATA !!! EVERYTHING!!!

I want to make accounts for my Euro and Zloty savings, but I cant :( Create availability of making accounts with different currencies. A lot of people ask about it! App is simple but cool, I really love Moni but not much as you want ;p

I can not edit existing transactions. Not correctly calculated the total amount

This is the first review Ive ever written for anything, but the latest update for this app warrants a review. It used to be very simple to notate a transaction, and it is no longer so. The process for indicating the source or recipient of a transaction is also far more complicated than it used to be, and unnecessarily so. Im also pretty disappointed that you are no longer able to select any future dates for a transaction. Ill be looking for a new app to keep track of finances.

I used to really, really love this app. But ever since the update it forces me to have my accounts in alphabetical order as opposed to what I use the most. AND, it keeps glitching and not subtracting my transactions from the right accounts no matter how many times I attempt to do so. Ive restarted and force quit this app so many times. Unfortunately it may be time to look for a different app. I hate to do so because Ive been using this app for so long and have had no problems.

Please change it back! The old version was so simplistic and easy and fast. Now its a pain to enter a transaction, the total changes but the transaction doesnt even show up, and I cant make account adjustments... I just want to type the dollar amount, type the store name, and be done like the old version. :(

I liked this app a lot more when it was simple. Now theres too many things like locations and notes and categories and the note doesnt even remember previous notes for auto fill. It was much better when it was just a line at the bottom of the form rather than a button taking you to a whole other page. I also liked it when you could swipe between accounts from anywhere on the screen and now it has to be done from the top. The black was a bit easier on the eyes but I can live with white. I loved this app before and I really want to keep using it but its become less of a quick and easy thing and more of a chore.

The new UI is very inconvenient with my accounts now being out of order. Swiping at the top to switch accounts is very annoying, even though you can swipe on the bottom before viewing an account. The new input for notes is terrible. It was simple before. All I want to do it add the amount and label it in the same place. Pretty bummed as this WAS the best app that allowed me to QUICKLY enter my receipt details. Shopping for other options now.

Words dont describe frustration for me. I used to love the app..... Until I had to test its reliability. I had used it for 2 years. It had told me it had my account backed up. Got a new phone. IT WAS ALL GONE! Ugh! Im moving on to a more reliable app. One that wont lag. One that ads up my money right (yeah, the calculator wasnt always so accurate). One that I can put a little bit of faith into. Dont waste your time with this app. Theres a reason it only has 2 stars. Getting this app and telling yourself that it will help you track money is like going on a McDonalds diet and expecting to lose weight.

I dont understand why the new update took away the option to simply & quickly enter the location of your transaction. I dont want to have to use my location or search for a place. All the category options and such are useless to me. If I wanted an app to really track income, categories and such, Id use a different app. I use Moni because it WAS easy to quickly note transactions since my bank account doesnt post transactions on the same day and I need to keep track of my current balance. Nice ascetic updates but please give the option to easily enter the location/name of transaction.

Thank you for fixing some of the major issues from the big update. I no longer have to force quit the app to see transactions Ive added, I can now order my accounts how I like, and notes are much easier to make now! This is getting closer to the ease of use the app had before the massive update. There are still a few issues, though, that Id like to see addressed. 1) Please allow us to choose the time again when selecting the date of a transaction. Prior to the update, I used to be able to order my transactions for the day the way they are posted to my account (which is not always the order I initially put them in). But now I cant go back in and change them because you removed the time selection. 2) Things seem more "laggy" or stutter-like sometimes when swiping between accounts or posting transactions. It used to be very fluid before the major update. Im on an iPhone 6 so there shouldnt be any issues with the age of my device affecting this. Its just an annoyance, really. 3) Prior to the big update, posting a transaction without a note simply posted it with the name of the account, nothing else. Now if you do it without a note (or category), it defaults to saying "Expense". Could we possibly go back to just listing the name of the account only? Or at least give us that option in the settings. I often have purchases that I dont necessarily have a category or note for, and I hate seeing a bunch of big, bolded "Expenses" as I scroll through and then have to squint to see what account it was for in the smaller, gray text. Id much rather just see the account name on the transaction in the bigger, bold text like you used to do. I mean cmon, the color (green/red) on the left side already denotes whether something is an expense or deposit. 4) On a few occasions (it seems random), if I tap on a transaction to edit it, the edit screen contains no information (amount is 0, nothing in notes, etc.). I have to back out and then enter again to get the actual transaction info to show up. Again, this is not all the time, but its happened a handful of times so far. All in all, youve made some real improvements to get this app back as functionally easy as it used to be. With a few more improvements Ill be happy to rate this a 5-star app again.

I have been using Moni for over two years now. The latest update to this app is better than ever! Look gorgeous on my iPhone 6s Plus. When I read that now everything is absolutely FREE. Yeah FREE unlike other apps that claim free and then you have to purchase additional features. This one is actually FREE!! Here is what just completely won me over. As I stated, I have been using this app for years. Last week they updated the app and I immediately noticed some missing features on the new version. Guess what? I clicked on the settings button within the app, and clicked the "contact us" button. I write in to support. Today! Yes today they released a new update to the app and all the problems I caught are fixed!!!!!! Thats impressive customer support. Thank you Mr. Chris Bea...... for your amazing speed at getting back to your loyal customers! I am truly a Moni fan for life. How do I use Moni. Well, Im an avid user making sure I plug in all of my transactions. If customers know well, sometimes banks do not display accurate balances until a few business days. Well Moni helps me foreshadow how much money I actually have in my accounts. I love it! This app has saved me so many times by avoiding I overdraft. Thank you Moni team!!! The update is a nice overhaul. Definitely happy its updated for the new devices and bugs were fixed that I talked about in previous reviews. Love the app now. Thanks. Still by far the best checkbook app out there

You guys really do listen, thanks for putting the simplicity back into this app - love it! One suggestion, Im using an iPhone 6 and the fonts are small - it would be nice to have a way to increase font size. Thanks again!!

Moni I use your app as my sole "checkbook" register. Please add a feature that allows me to "check" mark an item as I reconcile it with my checking account. Without a feature like this, it makes reconciling my account very difficult every month. That is the only qualm I have with this app. Thank you!!

Thank you for listening to your users. I updated again to the latest version. I think the developers hard work deserves another chance. I have a couple of requests: 1. Change the lock screen to faster or no transition to avoid displaying transactions for half second. On iphone 6 plus the transaction list displays momentarily b4 showing the password screen. 2. Please add account scroll at the bottom where the balance is. The 6 plus is a large phone and it takes some effort to scroll at the top. I still dont care about categories and location so I just ignore those fields. Previously: Same issues as zuriel. Log doesnt display transactions, accounts in alpha order ( had to renamed them), more steps to enter a note and no recent description in notes. This app used to be very good. Now it is a mess. I dont care about category or location. This app was very simple and worked pretty well. This review is about the updated version.
